Ok...this is a continuation of my college assignments; this time, the style is called Art Deco, from 20th decade.
I had to create a piece with that style, and I realized the movie Chicago is settled in that same period...
so I decided to make a poster for the movie based on that style, that consists in degrades and more geometric shapes. The skyscrapers are also very characteristc in that decade.
Hope u like it!

AWESOME...except the person on the right's missing an eye >.>

The Dark is generous, and it is patient, and it always wins.
It always wins because it is everywhere. Walk in the midday sun, and it is with you, attached to the soles of your feet.
The brightest light casts the darkest shadow.
Haha, awesome again. Looks just as wonderful as the moulin rouge poster.
That's cause the person on the right is a profile and well vector is not that easy!

I think you could have stylized the buildings more did a bit more background work and Screamed "SHOW ME ART DECO TYPEFACES YOU FUCKER!!" To your teacher...other than that

Look at you!
Happy with your work Dru?

I LOVE everything about this!!! If I could chose a time to go back to, it would definitely be the 20's. Your work is always so well done and this should get high marks for how much effort you put into it! I love those buildings and the girls just came out perfect. :+fav:
